hSenid Business Solutions PLC, a leading provider of Human Resource Management (HRM) solutions, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wayamba University of Sri Lanka on 16th February 2026, marking a significant step toward strengthening industry–academia collaboration in the field of Human Resource Management.
Under this partnership, hSenid Business Solutions PLC will donate its industry-leading PeoplesHR Application Software to the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Business Studies and Finance. This initiative is designed to facilitate the provision of knowledge, skills, and practical training in Human resource functions, equipping undergraduates with the tech competencies required to excel in the evolving field of Human Resource Management.
The collaboration will also provide opportunities for staff members and students to participate in workshops, seminars, and training programmes organized by HBS,
enabling direct exposure to contemporary AI driven HR technologies and best practices.
Commenting on the partnership, Professor E.M.P. Ekanayake, Vice Chancellor of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, stated:
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between academia and industry, particularly in the field of Human Resource Management. This MoU, established on behalf of the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Business Studies and Finance, will enable the integration of industry-leading PeoplesHR Application Software into the B.Sc. (Hons) Business Management Degree Programme specially for HR degree programs. Through this initiative, our undergraduates will gain valuable exposure to contemporary human resource management practices, hands-on training, and practical competencies aligned with evolving industry requirements.”
