With the humble beginning of just 4 individuals, in 1997 hSenid Software International was established with the intention of building a great company that brings local talents to the international market. Going global was never an option but a need. Was there a 5 year plan? No, but the passion, enthusiasm and dedication to do great things. Beginning to experiment with the fields of telecom, finance and enterprise markets, hSenid has gradually made its mark with over 1600 clients in 20 varying industries across 40 countries and strives to keep up with our intention to be the Global Sri Lankan in HRIS.
“It was a day in February 1997, I was at a Rotary Club meeting, having a chat with the guest speaker. He just told me that his company was in need of a HR software system. My reply was, no we don’t have that, but we can build one for you.”
Our journey is all about change and it was required to constantly evolve with our clients. Never saying ‘No’ became a part of the hSenid culture and because of this, over the past 20 years this relationship grew into a companionship. It was beyond business, beyond activities and beyond measures.
Our commitment is how we secured two of our main clients, Sri Lanka Telecom and the country’s national carrier, SriLankan Airlines in 1999, along with Shell Gas Lanka Ltd. With a gradual growth, we began to win group accounts in 2008.
Global expansion was not easy. We tried, tested and successfully established our first foreign branch in Singapore in 2004. Taking bold steps, we have expanded the hSenid footprint across India and Australia.
Maybe not, but one thing guaranteed is that it's going to be a digital transformation with a unique combination of analytics and AI that ensures to always be relevant with time!
