Top professional Dr. Arittha Rahula Wikramanayake has been appointed as a non-executive independent director of the hSenid Business Solutions with effect from 3 October.

Dr. Wikramanayake is a veteran Corporate and M&A lawyer and heads the Firm’s corporate and acquisitions practice. During his tenure as the Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), he played a pivotal role in the development and formulation of fundamental laws, regulations and policies - including the formulation of the Takeovers and Mergers Code.

Let me begin by stating an undeniable truth about hSenidBiz: we are resilient. In the face of local and global challenges, we remain steadfast in our certainty about our prospects and our numbers affirm this. We ended the year with an impressive 35 percent year-over-year growth in the USD value of new deals closed, supported by a 9 percent increase in our global client base, which reached 1,465. While our international expansions may have started slowly owing to local and international market conditions, we are now gaining momentum, going forward with no turning back.

hSenid Business Solutions (hBS) has reported yet another favourable earnings result for the period ended 30 June 2022. 

Net profits for the quarter came in at Rs. 202.4 million, compared to a profit of Rs. 7.3 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, recording a 73 cents earnings per share.
